Meet Falla

Falla is a central bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps) who was born in 2024. She joined our family when she was just a tiny hatchling, and in the year since, she has grown into a confident, curious, and occasionally dramatic lizard with a very distinct personality.

She belongs to a devoted beardie lover who has wanted a bearded dragon for as long as she can remember. Falla was a birthday gift, and she has been the center of attention ever since.

This website is our way of sharing everything we've learned — and everything Falla has taught us — about what it really takes to keep a bearded dragon happy and healthy.

Falla's Personality

Basking Queen

Falla takes her basking very seriously. Do not disturb her between 10am and noon.

Cricket Enthusiast

She goes absolutely wild for crickets. Dubias are fine. Superworms are a treat. Salad is tolerated under protest.

Falla watches everything. She has opinions about the TV, the cat across the room, and what you're eating.
